印度補習班大火 學生跳樓驚悚逃生19人喪命
印度西部古吉拉特邦大城蘇拉特，一間商業大樓24日發生大火，由於當時有許多學生，正在裡面的補習班上課，許多人被迫跳窗逃生，這起火災造成至少19名學生死亡，其中有3人是因為跳樓，傷重不治。
大樓另一端冒出濃濃黑煙，這邊有民眾從窗戶爬出，藍衣男子先是雙手拉著吊在窗邊，然後疑似體力不支鬆手墜落，接著又有多人紛紛墜樓，有人則乾脆從窗邊一躍而下，還有人接連跳下，在空中與另一名墜落的人相撞，一起落地。
只有一人爬到下一層樓，站在窗外等待救援。其他人雖然企圖以同樣方式逃生，最後卻都失手落下，甚至有明顯身形嬌小的孩童，看似被拋出窗外，引起下方驚叫連連。
最後只有3人成功爬到三樓外面，由雲梯車救好康限定商品下，印度西部古吉拉特邦大城蘇拉特，一間四層樓高的商業大樓，24日下午發生火災，由於許多學生當時正在裡頭的補習班上課，當局表示，死傷多是14到17歲的未成年人，除了因吸入濃煙遭火吻喪命，還有跳樓逃命的人傷重不治。
印度記者：「當局表示這是一棟違章建築，建築屋主已經逃跑。」
初步調查，起火原因可能是因為電線短路，總理莫迪在網路發文哀悼向傷患致意，也承諾提供家屬最大協助。這是當地一年內第二度有補習班發生嚴重大火，造成學生喪命。當局下令，立刻關閉古吉拉特邦所有補習班，進行消防檢查，要避免再有類似悲劇發生。
防疫登革熱入戶噴消 民眾如拒絕妨礙將開罰
新北市新莊登革熱本土疫情持續，目前已經累積有八例登革熱確診。新北市衛生局表示，為了噴消防疫，民眾如果拒絕、規避或妨礙衛生局防疫作業，將依照「傳染病防治法」開罰，依「傳染病防治法」可處6萬元以上30萬元以下罰鍰。
新北市衛生局表示，有民眾質疑衛生局8月6日，未依照合法程序強制進入家戶內，進行登革熱緊急防治噴藥，衛生局有依照程序，先行在8月5日發放噴藥通知單，8月6日噴藥當天，由員警按鈴告知將入內噴藥，民眾開門並未拒絕，衛生局人員才入內執行噴藥，整個過程都合法。為了避免登革熱疫情延燒，依照中央訂頒的「登革熱防治工作指引」，緊急針對病例所在區域執行「戶內外」噴消是必要工作。
衛生局表示，戶內噴消使用的藥劑成分為除蟲菊精，藥劑為水性，遇陽光、紫外線易分解，對人體毒性低。目前新莊區登革熱疫情持續，防疫視同作戰，呼籲民眾配合與政府並肩抗戰。
